July 25th 2022: Animal Concern (AC) has asked the Scottish Government to use the avian flu pandemic to finally ban the cruel guga hunt which every year sees up to 2,000 baby gannets caught using nooses on a long pole and then killed by perhaps multiple blows to their heads. AC has also called for a change to the blanket culling policy being used in response to avian flu incidents in bird rescue centres. You can read the email to Ministers here:
