The buzz around sky lanterns and helium balloons
After suggesting to Councillor Jenny Linehan that she table a motion in Scottish Borders council to vote on a ban on the release of sky lanterns and helium balloons, we last week received the good news that the motion was carried unanimously.

We will be working to support other Scottish local councils to institute their own voluntary bans, as well as the central Scottish Government on a motion to restrict release on more than just council-owned land.
